87 GT with a paxton?

Ok im going to be buying a 87 GT with a SN93 paxton supercharger..it has BBK shortys,70mm TB..the paxton cold air intake..making like 6 psi ...It has some type of cat back with thrush mufflers..yuk...LOL...its an AOD with a wicked shift kit slames 1st..2nd and 3rd...nice solid firm shifts...I dont know what gear ration that i will have to find out when i pick it up...What type of HP will this be putting out and what do you think it would run in the 1/4?.....Thanks

In theory, every 14.7 lbs of boost would double your hp. Example, if you had 300 hp, with 14.7 lbs of boost you'd have 600.
Depending on what else is done to the car, I'd think you'd have between 300-350 hp. Quarter mile time, prob mid 12's maybe?

Maybe around 270 hp. That supercharger doesn't move much air. Not sure on the 1/4, any weigh reduction? Find out the gears and tires size also. Street radial, drag radial slick? Suspension?

The car is a Vert i forgot to say that and a AOD..that shifts like a raped ape...lol..
70mm TB...shortys...cat back....it might have more i didnt pick it up yet...I dont know the rear gears but i will check that out when i get it...I will run Nitto Drag radials....I would hope for at least 13's no?

Yes it should run 13's. GT verts are pretty heavy...

Isn't it like 10hp for every pound of boost???Thats what i was always told.....Just my .02 worth

No. 14.7 lbs of boost approximately doubles hp from naturally aspirated output. 6 lbs equals approximately a 41% increase. 225 hp with 6 lbs of boost should be approximately 317 hp..

Yep through a auto to the ground. Its going to be under 300 hp for sure.

From the little test ride i gave it ...Plus it needs a tune up BAD...it felt really strong...broke the tires loose on comand...Maybe it has other work that im unware of..I will be taking this to the track once i get it up and running to see what she runs...
