87' Mustang Speakers Help

My Stangs speakers are shot, they sound liek a 1960's radio. I could go to Canadian Tire (Crappy tire) and buy a new set for the doors, doesnt matter if theyre fancy or not, they will be covered by the panels at the bottom of the doors.

Any suggestions as to what I should get? I just want good sound, no huge subs in the back. Just a nice clean sound and good bass.

I hate to say it, but you're not going to get fantastic bass out of stock sized speakers. If you have a coupe you can probably squeeze 6"x9" speakers in to the rear deck.
