It was a mild case of mildew. Cleaned off easily. Happens sometimes in garage storage that's not climate controlled.

An issue that I could use some help with... the dreaded coolant disappearing .
Radiator leak down shows slow leak somewhere but no visible signs of liquid anywhere including heater core. Block combustion test (blue fluid gismo on radiator) was good. Could be some white smoke coming from drivers side exhaust. Hard to tell in cold weather.
If it is exiting the pipes, am I left with either intake or head gasket issue?
Thanks for help!

Check for the dreaded frame rail rust in engine compartment and under neath first.
Love the T-tops.

Thanks for the tip. Haven't looked at the engine compartment yet but floors are extremely clean and don't even have any surface rust.

Looks like it has some rust on the hatch by the FORD emblem. I would definitely look at the shock towers, A pillars, etc.

Turned out to be radiator. Suggestions for a replacement? It is a driver not a race car.

UPDATE ON 88 T-top PROGRESS!
In short, I have basically spent my money and energy cleaning, detailing, and refreshing some cosmetics like ground effects clips, stripe and Ford ovals. A slight leak in the original radiator had me dropping in a new black radiator (thanks LMR, a recor was 500 bucks), changing fluids and tires, and fixing minor issues. Currently I have driven the car about 300 miles just working out the bugs. I was able to find a build sheet under the spare, get a carfax to see prior work done by original owner, and am currently waiting on a deluxe marti report.
I need to finish the front and rear PITA bumper stripe and add some rear end gears (3.55s or 3.73s?). I hate how tall it is stock! Original owner had just replaced the clutch but it doesn't engage smooth so may source a new one. Any suggestions for a bump up above stock would be greatly appreciated? Granny must have been doing too many heal toe burnouts I guess .
Car looks amazing and runs better. Proud to have a true survivor and plan to keep it that way.
Suggestions for a personalized license plate?
Thanks for your support!

Agreed!
Just got laid off from my job.
Hope I can hang on to it seeing as how prices are (were) going up on fox bodies. For now, I'll just enjoy the ride and people's reactions on the road. It is amazing on how polarized people are on this body style.
