As far as the gold, right as I stared to like
Them the gold started to flake. So they’ll be grey once I get a chance. I do think they looked good with the black

That GMC next to you looks like it could use some sanding as well.

Nothing amazing to report. But they are working on the car. They said they have most of the old clear off and believe they are getting close to paint.

I’ve started working on cleaning and painting the trim. I’ve made good progress. I do need to source a couple parts though. My rear glass trim was damaged and needs replaced. I also need new mirrors. The motors are shot in both of mine and they are covered in several layers of paint, they’ll get scrapped while I find good ones... kinda sucks that new ones are nearly $90 a pop.

5l5 did. He used an off brand internal. I’ve been watching and they go for about $90 a pop new.

Yeah, they went up. I think the one I got was $30. Kicking myself for not getting the other side. The off-brand one is silent and smooth

You can check your stash but I’m pretty picky on them. I don’t wanna spend a bunch of time refinishing them.

Yeah, as soon as I find a deal I’ll buy new. I figure I have a few weeks worth of refinishing and fixing other stuff before I gotta worry about it.

Got the belt moldings painted.

Stripped the front windshield molding ( 4 layers of paint.....) and got them primed. I’ll start wet sanding tomorrow or Thursday.

Then I gotta scrub my garage. Can’t bring a freshly painted car home to a dust trap.

No, that’s what I was trying to say instead of frisky lol.

I did get this though. They have it sanded and are working on a couple low spots.
