What was it about them that would cause the motor to shut off after running for a bit?

The car wouldn't start without multiple cycles but fuel pressure was fine.

It ended up being the brand new autozone "motocraft" tfi module that was bad for anyone who cares.

Where did you get a good TFI? Fighting with poor quality parts store ones
