My boy called and said that this extension piece is about to fall off. He hasn’t sent me a pic yet and I have been searching on how they attach to the fender and I can’t find anything. So how is this piece attached to the fender.
front tires are 235/60/15 and they do rub.

The ones from later years won't rub. Ford changed the shape to give more clearance.

If that's about to fall off I'd check everything else while there. That piece is connected solidly in several places.

The top hole and ine to the right connect to fender, the bottom two on left connect to skirt.
This is back side of GT bumper cover

Thanks. I still haven’t seen what my boy is talking about so hard to describe exactly what’s happening. From everything I’ve seen I don’t know how it can come off unless there broken bolts.
