never been on a forum before. hope the right people see my post.
working to build a new motor for my friend. his cousin put it together originally smh. extremely difficult to turn over with crank bolt. took it home and started tear down to find what was binding. finally took off timing chain and found that the cam sprocket was rubbing/binding against the cam retainer. don't know the brand of the sprocket. I know it is a new block and an e303 cam. should there be shims between sprocket and cam or do yall think this sprocket is trash?
