For starters, Hello to all the Mustang enthusiasts out there. My name is Brian and I am Active Duty Military. I am from Ohio and currently stationed in Washington. I have been on 2 overseas deployments to Iraq, neither good nor bad. When returning from my last deployment I decided I wanted to buy a Mustang to play with. I purchased it from a guy in Michigan and here is the following mods he already accomplished before selling.... Ford E303 cam, bored .30, ported and polished heads, X-pipe with flows, rebuilt original transmission and engine with approx 7500 miles, 3.73 rear end, B&M shift kit, no smog kit/ac/heat, and 75 shot NOS. Since I have had it I have done only the following.... new 245/45/15 rubber, new performance shocks and struts, gel cell battery, MSD, some cosmetics, and currently in progress of rewiring the NOS because the original owner bypassed a specific harness and I would rather it be done right. My current very near future goals for upgrades are.... re-wiring of course, B&M Holeshot (not sure which one has proven more successful with others with the same current mods, 2500/3000??) and a K&N cold air intake. Winter goals are to upgrade my MAF, throttle body and some engine compartment show modifications. If I can budget myself good enough I'd also like to upgrade the upper intake, plenum, etc....
Any suggestions from anyone that has the same style that have proven to work the best with little to no complicatoins?
I plan to keep this car as much as possible street but I really love the track. Unfortunately, naturally aspirated, this car only ran 15.003 @ 93 MPH with a 60 ft time of 2.27s last week as it sits
Thanks,
Brian
