'89 Saleen heads, how much should I pay?

hey every one, searched the threads for an answer but couldn't find one i was satisfied with. found a set of cast iron heads from an '89 Saleen and the guy wants $300 for them. they have 25k on them and are in great shape. just wondering what the difference is between ford heads and saleen. figured they were just ported 7's or something. not up on Saleen stuff so i could use some help. is this too much. i'm not intereted in them for personal use, just to pick up and maybe resell at some point. i'm saving my pennies for some AFR's! any help would be appreciated. thanks!

They are the same as any other E7. untouched.

only the 90 SSC cars have ported stock heads from saleen.

They aren't any different than any other E7. I don't think they would sell for anymore than Ford heads, but I could be wrong!

Well considering the E7 heads have to be given away, that should give you a good idea on value.

if they are stock, i wouldnt pay more than $100 for them at most. If they have like 1.7 or 1.6 good rockers on them, 250 would be ok.

if you can verify that they are ssc heads...which i doubt they are....they are "Saleen High-Flow SSC Heads". whatever that means. the 1/4 times for a ssc were 14.5's @98mph
