I picked up this lx convertible a month or so back. Its a complete car that needs a little work. Ill have to see if I can find some pics before I started disassembling it, but here are some progress pics to date. Plans are to get it on a rotisiere and have the bottom, engine bay and rust areas sandblasted, coat the undercarriage with black epoxy, and paint the engine bay back to oxford white. Ill then bring it back and fix any rust spots, get the body work done, then take it back and paint the entire car. During the time its at the shop, Ill tear the engine down, clean everything up and regasket the entire thing. Ill also clean up the interior before reassembly and replace all the damaged peices. I dont exactly know what the intentions are at this point, I planned on flipping this quick and reselling it, but ill have to see how nice it turns out in the end, I may end up keeping it. Lots of surface rust, not too many thru spots, it should clean up nice. All original, never wrecked, a fairly solid base. stay tuned.
