This chick has a ford 9 inch, shes not sure what it came out of.

But the measurements from spring perch to perch on the inside is 33 1/2 inches

and she said over all from "back of the brakes" to the other side is 60 inches



She wants less then 200 for it....should i pick this up???

I can pause from the body work for a good deal like this lol

If she's close enough go check it out. Take your own tape measure. If she's learned to read a tape measure from her boyfriend, well....

HAHA well its liek an hour long drive away from me...she dosent have a boyfriend, but shes 17 lol, 1m 20 its not too bad but still to young for me.

So is that the right way to measure it? from liek the back of the drum to the other drum?

use a straight edge across the drum/wheel mtg surface. and get the perch dist from there too.

So according to the chart my current rear is 59.25


And thats a measure from wheel mounting surface accross right?

It sounds like it would need to be narrowed. since she said she measured inner drum over, Is this hard to do? Ive got my hands on a welder now so im sure it couldent be too hard. Or should i just pay to have it done....is it expensive?

Sounds to me like it's more likely a truck rear. Those measure roughly 60" on the housing alone. The 33 1/2" spring perch measurement is probably the shock mounts,

So the 60' is probably flange to flange?

Its in auburndale, im going to look at it friday...
