90 Police Interceptor Alternator Help

I've been reading through the forum and found some good info, but I'll ask the question anyway.
My daughter has a 90 coupe with a Lestek 135amp alternator and external voltage regulator. The alternator bit the dust and ruined the bearings, shaft and pulley. So with that I have a couple of questions.

Is there a suitable replacement for the lestek alternator that would work with my current wiring and external voltage regulator?

If not, I was thinking of modifying the wiring harness for a stock alternator?

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the interceptor edition?

Any help you guys could offer would be appreciated.
