How long should it take to pull the engine on a 5.0, 5 speed coup? anything I should look out for?

If its your first time, I would say 2.5 to 3 hours. But if you have done it before, I would say 1.5 hours or so. It is pretty straight forward to pull it out.

If this is your very first time pulling an engine in general, I would look at spending a good part of the day on it.

It makes it easier if you pull the tranny along with the engine.

I'd pull the tranny with the engine, it will save a little ttime in trying to get the bell housing bolts undone. Take pics of everything before you start it will help with putting everything back where it goes, and lable all the connecters. And make sure EVERYTHING is disconnected before you start pulling and go slow. Good luck.

It will take a while if it's your first time. Lots of hoses and wires to get out of the way, so just get everything that attaches the engine and car disconnected and out of the way. When pulling the engine out, any resistance besides the weight of the engine, don't be in a rush, find what it is before you destroy something.
