91 LX oilpan

Hi,

Is there any difference between the oilpan in the 2.3l Mustang engine and the 2.3l Ranger?? The Ford parts guy says they have different parts nos but I can't see them tooling up for 2 cast alum. oilpans.

Mine is cracked where the pan goes around the rear main bearing cap. Tried JB Weld but I guess the pressure of the pan bolts caused it to crack again.

I believe they're the same pan. I've had both and can't tell them apart.
