First things first, kind of a no duh question, but i'm pretty sure these are sub frame connectors right?

they are on a vert,

Ok, on to my main question. So the ebreak does not work, I pulled the center console and the cable that connects the handle to the long cables is snaped, got under and the bracket thing is gone too.

so what is this part called? I've called my local parts store and they have nothing on file.

is it just this thing? http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/LRS-2603A/87-93-Mustang-Front-Parking-Brake-Cable

cuz... dang, 75 bones is kinda dumb, I've found the entire set for that on ebay, but i'd rather spend... less.

other thing, will there be anything else Ill need? the passenger side cable is for sure intact , i did'nt check the passenger, but I assume it is.

thanks guys!!

Do you still have the stock 4 lug drum brakes on the back or has the car had a 5 lug disc conversion done?

I would definitely try the junk yard or maybe EBAY.
Good luck

True. EBAY can be hit or miss.
I was just out at the junk yard today picking up a few parts.
They just got in a 1990 LX vert.

What part of Illinois are you from? I'm right next door to the Byron dragstrip. Just curious.

Yes, they are what someone has apparently called sub frame connectors. Home made I presume. Do they have the seat connector brackets?

I'm not sure, I've not looked at them much. They are weld in, they don't look home made, but ive not been around them much.

WTF happened to your frame rail in the back. Is that a huge piece of it missing I see? Why is there a huge crack vertically. Was this car wrecked?

Are you talking about a inch in front of the muffler? I'll have to look tonight. I have no idea if its been wrecked. None of the major signs are there, but I'll look to see if its a crack or a shadow. The under side of the car seems to have been sprayed at some point.

The picture was taken at night, with my phone, using a flashlight, so who knows, I'll post one of the spot either way tonight.

look at the huge space in between the Subframe connector and the frame/body. I'd check the torque boxes.

I see it, the hump and vertical crack, I'll see it tonight and get a pic with light on it. If the frame is split, I'll probably sell the car and call it a day..

sorry bro. But that doesn't look good at all unless I am not seeing it right due to the poor picture quality. Post some better pictures of it.
