Fuel 93 5.0 fuel problem

Was kinda hoping I would see a blown capacitor but all looks ok. How do I clear the KAM? I adjusted the TPS it is new also

I am sending it off tomorrow. Says they charge $75 if they test it and that's not the problem.

Mine seemed perfectly fine and they found multiple things wrong with it and ‘beefed’ up other things. Well worth the full price if it comes to that.

I have pulled codes succesfuly with the test light method. Now how to I clear the codes?

After codes are cleared and if the problem still exist, how long will it take for the codes to show up again?

Welp got ECU back they said they fixed a compacitor. Plugged it in high hopes and car does the same thing sputtering black smoke. I am at a lost.

Right but... [Now] you are in a position where you have a good ECU but an unknown situation with the chip and tune.

That, in itself, could be an issue. Whomever put that thing together, had a tune for it. Could be because of injectors, or sensors, MAF, cam or a number of other things.

The question is whether the chip and the tune that's is supposed to be on it, is still any good.

If it used to run with the chip in it then it [needs] the chip.

I also suspect that you have an issue with the fuel pump relay.

I bought the Tweecar to make it run better and to be able to look at vitals. Car was not built for tune it ran with or with the Tweecar before. Never could get the Tweecar to hook up right.

Pump primes and shuts off. If I pull the relay out and start the car it runs great until fuel runs out.

So, you got the TwEECer to try and solve an issue that you didn't have?


Pull Key On Engine Off codes again. Don't start it and don't pull any relays.

Because engine is getting too much fuel. Plugs are all wet and blows black smoke. I just happened to pull the fuel relay to check spark and car ran smooth until all fuel was gone.

Do you have a direct reading gauge for fuel pressure?


If so, let the fuel pump prime, and watch how quickly the pressure dies off. Don't start the engine.
