Fuel 93 5.0 fuel problem

How new? Did you replace it while chasing down this issue or did you replace it before the issue started? -- Disregard. I see earlier in the thread where you replaced it to try and solve the issue.

Two things come to mind after reviewing the thread:

Well still no luck with fuel issue l. Replaced one leaky injector got car to hold fuel pressure now holds then slowly leaks down. Still dumping fuel in cylinders. Guess my only other option is to replace all the injectors.???
This needs to be resolved. This cannot happen. Check for stray voltage with the key in the [On] position and engine stopped. If you don't find anything on the electric end then yeah... Every one of those injectors is suspect.

The only other thing that I can think of that matches your symptoms with [no] visual fuel leak is:

In-tank fuel pump internal pop-off has: popped off. This would mean a new fuel pump. Would you happen to know what specific fuel pump is installed?

I'll go back though... If you have injectors dumping gas into the cylinders with the engine off and fuel system pressurized then that is a huge problem.

That is good to know on the harness as I hate chasing wiring issues on something that is supposed to be plug and play.

Pretty sure Tanks Inc is a Walbro dealer so the pump should be good. What brand of injectors are they and where did you buy them? I would still pull them like Noobz is suggesting. I would be curious to know what they looked like.

I pulled the fuse to the injectors and car wouldn't run so pretty sure the problem is not with the injectors. Checked all the grounds and they look good. Guess the fuel pump is pushing too much fuel but the pressure is at around 25?

So we have new ECU, new injectors, new regulator, new plugs, new distributor, new engine. Car ran smooth when I put it together then didn't all of a sudden. Black smoke bucking, wet plugs and fuel in the oil. If I pull the relay car runs smooth until it is out of gas. I am sure if I take it to a mechanic they would find the problem right away.

Doubtful. These ECU's are OBD-I so over 30 years old. Not many old head techs left that know anything about them.

Just because you unplug the injector fuses (Painless has one for the left bank and one for the right bank) does not prove they are good.

So let me start with saying I’m not busting your balls. Those injectors are junk. Lots of reviews on them with spray pattern issues, leaking, bad coils, etc.

You need to pull them and test them. If they are bad get your money back and buy some EV1 Bosch injectors.
