93 Cobra exhaust

I recently purchased a dynomax-walker h-pipe(cats) and the mufflers and ss tailpipes. All of it is 2.25. Im in the process of putting the car back in its stock form. My question is: are the LX tailpipe hangers shorter than the cobra tailpipe hangers from Ford? Due to the rear ground effect I wasnt sure. I dont know if i should had specified that i had a cobra when ordering this system. Do they(walker) make a tailpipe just for a cobra or do they just sell the LX style and its up to you to make it work(fabricate)? If it is indeed different.....ANYBODY KNOW?

The LX exhaust hangers are shorter. I think you can buy longer rubber hangers at part stores so that the LX exhaust kit will fit a cobra (I have a cobra bumper on my 93 gt and had to do some "rigging"). If you don't get longer rubber hangers or longer metal hangers welded on, the exhaust will sit flush with the bumper and ruin the paint.

Edit: 93 cobra might already have longer rubber hangers on, so you might be okay...

Thanks for that info. The cobra rubber hangers are exactly the same size as an LX's.So i guess the metal hangers on the exhaust were longer. Yeh, i'll just use longer rubber hangers and be done with it.
