93' Cobra R only 195 miles

Went to the Somernites car show in Somerset, Kentucky this past weekend. Bunch of Stangs there. Wish I had taken some pics but none the less I have to mention the 1993 Cobra R that I saw. Only 195 miles.... still had plastic on the seats/steering wheel. All factory windshield stickers/decals still on. Original window price sticker. Absolute brand new condition. Still had alignment stickers on where they mounted the tires to the wheels. You guys wouldnt have believed it unless you saw in person. I have a 01' stang as I am not too familar with the fox bodies but I do know the 93' R's are very very rare. Let alone 195 miles. Ford only made 107 of them and this was probably one of the few today with that kind of mileage.
Just thought I'd pass that along to the 5.0 guys. Anyone who lives near Somerset, Kentucky, I highly recommend the Somernites Car show as it is one of the best in the country.

I don't think it was a question of what was faster. Just the rarity and not driven. I can't imagine going in the garage and seeing that there on a great day like today and getting in the Ranger and going somewhere. Oh well to each his own.

I know what you mean. I drive my cars as much as possible. I know they aren't worth as much, but I take the same care of them as they do theirs!! My dad just bought a GT500 an after 7 days of ownership and 3 days of driving, it already has 131 miles on it. Looking at that and then getting into something else is hard on a sunny day!!!

On one hand i think it's important to preserve a few of them for historical purposes....but at the same time it's still a shame. I don't think any car is meant to be bought and garaged.
