'93 cobra side skirts question

Im in the process of building my cobra clone. I had a question though. I have a set of oem 93 cobra side skirts. But I got them without the pieces that are directly in front of both doors. Not the fender extension. Now my question is how different are the GT pieces from the cobra pieces. I want to take my GT side skirts cut the front pieces that go in front of the doors and put them together with my Cobra side skirts. Is there a big difference with the cobra piece and the GT pieces?

I know that the GT side skirts are different the only thing I want to know If the front piece of the GT is the same as the front of the cobra. I know that the rear pieces on the GT have the scoop and mustang GT on it, the cobra doesn't. But does the front differ?

I believe the cutouts and the lettering on the side is the only diff. not 100% sure. I think what you are trying to do should work, but there is an easier way which i'm doing later on. I'm just filling in the "mustang gt" on the sides of the skirts with epoxy or bondo (don't know yet) and voila!

That should work for the front piece. But you'll still have the scoop on the rear piece. But if thats what your looking for then cool.
