93 mustang hatch 2.3 keeps bottoming out!

i have a 93 2.3L Hatchback that i just bought. Today i went out with 4 people in the car...maby 600lbs of weight...i have all stock suspension, and i keep hearing a like grinding noise from my passanger side everytime a hit a lil bump or anything... What do you recomment do change so that i wont feel embarassed to drive with people in my car. i need to make it stop botomming out or the wheels grinding or something

heavyier duty suspension, not nessesarily performance stiffining though, just heavy duty. the heavy duty will be cheaper no doubt.

Some more info is needed. What size tires are on it and are they aftermarket rims?

Sounds like what my car was doing a while back. Turned out to be the shock mount blot was rubbing the lower control arm. I just put a few washers in front of the mount and it stopped.

truthfully, the Mustang Was Never intended to carry 4 people. The back seats are just there to help sell the car. The rear springs arent stiff enough to carry 4 people, and if they were your ride and handling would suffer. Its kind of a trade off, More capacity, or better driving.

Yea, I would quit driving that many people around. When I say I would, I mean I did.

i have carried 4 people n my car b4 i have the stock suspension i have only did it once i usually have 1 other person here or there i have 2. but anyways my stock suspsension doesnt bottom or make any noise so i would maybe get that performance suspension..
