'94 4.6 T-bird has the same fan as the Mark 8?

At work we had a '94 T-bird with a 4.6, and the fan caught my eye as i passed it, so I checked it out. the fan is IDENTICAL to that of my Mark VIII Fan, but is the motor the same? Has anyone heard of this? This is the first time I've seen something like this, it was kinda surprising.....

The power plug, and fan blade was also the same, if oyu put a Mark VIII fan and this one together, you'd never tell the difference..... so anyone know if it's the same?

It's similar. I don't know if it's variable speed like the Mark Fans are. It may be a two speed.

All the Ford fans are basically the same motor and such. Fan blade size and pitch and the shroud vary
