94/95 Convertible Subframe Connectors

Hi,

I'm trying to decide between the Steeda and Maximum Motorsport full length subframe connectors. I'm leaning toward the MM mainly because of thier reputation, but both of them look almost the same. Anyone have either one of these on their convertible? If so, did you install them yourself or did you have a shop do it? I called a shop by my house and they wanted $250 in labor alone just to install them. Seemed way high, right?

If anyone has any other recommendations let me know.

both are good brands i would go with the best price...wow $250 to install, it should cost around $50 thats the price here...might want to call some muffler shops. we have a muffler shop here that does it for about $40.

$250 sounds like what I was quoted by Goodyear here so I shopped around and found a Mustang shop that did it for $100 and that included painting them. I went with MM MMFL-3B. Don't buy the coated ones, when they weld them it takes longer and it the heat screws up the coating. Buy bare and once they are on either have them spray paint them or you do it.
