94-95 Longtubes fit 87-93 fox?

Will longtubes from a 94-95 stang fit a 87-93 fox? Would there need to be any modifing done to make them work?

Also I think I can get a good deal on a set of 1 3/4 inch longubes, would that big of primary hurt horsepower, rather that improve it? My mods are in my sig.

Not sure, but I know that 87-93 shortys work fine in the 94-95's.

Also what about pulling the transmission and bellhousing to change the clutch. Is this still very doable with longtubes and how they hand down.

Casey,

from what i understand the longtubes will bolt to the motor but you will have problems fitting them into the car, you might have to get at them with a hammer.
