94 GT heads and cam

looking to spend some money on my motor this winter. i have a set of GT40p heads that need completely re-done, as far as i know that is. they came off of an explorer in a junk yard. im if i should keep them or sell them off and find something better. also im looking into a cam, is there one that i can get good performance and not have to competely build the motor? (trying to avoid that til i can really go big power). i already have a cobra intake and everything to go with it. i had a few problems doing that but now have it all worked out, now im looking to get myself into even more trouble :nice:
any advice is great!
i also need to know what i will need hardware wise to do the install. (ex. what gaskets and other stuff like that.)

There are plenty of cams out there that don't require piston notching. You're off to a good start with a decent set of iron heads and a good intake. Any camshaft optimum to those heads will not require piston notching. The stock valves in those heads are sufficient. You might want to do some port work on the heads to get the maximum out of them, and you definately want to have a valve job done.
