The other day I lost control and snapped my left rear axle on a curb. I know how to deal with the rear end but now the car won't start. My guess is that I jolted something loose but I don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

What exactly happens when you try to start the car? Does the engine turn over but never starts? Hitting the rear end so hard to snap your axle, you likely triggered the inertia switch in the back. It's designed to cut off fuel in an accident. Open the trunk, and check on the left side behind the tail light. There should be a hole there big enough to get your finger into. Inside that hole, you'll find a button to push down on. Push the button, and that should re-engage the fuel pump.

When it first happened I thought I could drive out so I tried starting it and it honestly felt like it just wasn't getting any gas. Exactly what your talking about. I remember seeing that button in the trunk. I will try it in the morning and let you know. thanks

You're welcome. Every one of us started out like you, knowing little about Mustangs but willing to learn. That's one of the reasons I like the 94-95 forum on StangNet - no one's going to give you a hard time just because you don't know something.
