okay so i just bought a 94 gt 5speed with the trans out of it. I bought one of craigslist witch was suppose too have came out of a 95 cobra well after i bolted it in. Its about a inch too short so i thought damn it he sold me a fox body trans so i ran the tag number witch is 1352-238 and i found that it was a 94 up 3.8 v6 transmission world class. If thats the case why is it coming up short sure i could make crosmber for it no promblem but would love too know why its short as iv read of people useing the v6 trans with no issue and i used my 5.0 bell housing thanks in advance

Patience, not every member checks the forums multiple times a day. You're probably missing the tranny mount bracket. There should be a bracket between the tranny and the tranny mount that pushes the tranny mount back an inch or so.

Yea that be whats up missing that peice. So that bolts to the transmission and the mount bolts too it? Sorry about being impatient i knew there had too be a logical reason why it was about a inch short. Wanted too make sure before i made a crossmember or cut the stock one up. who every took trans out before i bought it must have threw parts over there shoulder as the took them off i think everyone that works on cars has ran into this i know i have many times lol and think you so much

Pretty sure that t5s are all the same. The bellhousing or driveshaft might differ in size, but I don't think the tranny does...
