What's up guys, first post here and first time buying a mustang. The car has 180k on it, I'm picking it up for $900. Only problem is, the return line for the rack and pinion is rotted. Can anyone refer me to a thread or just help me out with how to fix it? Thanks!
The return line is simply rubber hose. I replaced mine years ago with bulk fuel/oil hose from my local auto parts store, I think the hose is 5/8". The only hose that you have to buy special is the high-pressure hose from the pump to the rack, the rest of it is normal low-pressure hose.
