Hi I have a 95 mustang gt with stock motor it has a trickflow stage 2 cam, trickflow stage 1 intake with 75mm throttle body 75 mm maf with 24# injectors and fuel pressure set at 42psi I can't seem to keep it from going lean. I have it times at 10 deg and normal driving it's running at 15.5 on aem wideband during wot it pegs out lean I can't figure it out please help......

Are the stock sensors still operative in the sense that they are in place and sending a signal to the PCM? Where is the WB sensor mounted on the mid pipe? Is this a recent event? Is the WB sensor and controller new? How was it installed (where is the signal voltage, ground and power connected)? Need more info before offering a solution to your problem.

The wb sensor is on driver side at the front of the door in the mid pipe all sensors are reading and no codes that pull up for sensors just transmission codes but trans is built aod. I bought the car 4 days ago had a random missfire the timing was at 16

Stock motor trickflow stage 2 cam trickflow stage 1 intake 75mm tb 24lb injectors mad pro billet dist it misses random times under load tried mad coil and stock both same and replaced plugs

You bought the car last week?

The parts that you have swapped in and out are new? Didn't see any mention of the spark plug wires, are they new as well? Just don't have a clear picture of where we're at with respect to what is changed with new or used parts. So what is the baseline exactly? And, check the battery negative ground to the engine and install a 2 ga engine to chassis ground if there isn't one already. All the engine sensors rely on good grounds to function properly.

Its got a brand new dist now brand new wires brand new coil brand new plugs icm has been checked so all ignition new now it still cuts i installed a 4 ga ground today it seems a little better hard to tell tho its so random when it misfires ill drive it more tomorrow hopefully the ground is the problem its getting expensive replacing good parts.....

Check the plugs and wiring again to make certain all connections are tight. You might try spraying the plug wires with a water and vinegar (a few drops) mix (just a fine mist) to see if you can spot any arcing. Your 1st post mentioned a problem with the engine going lean at WOT. Is that still the case? Considering what you have replaced I don't think you need to buy more parts. I suspect it's something simple that's being overlooked.

Motorcraft stock replacement at .054 I looked up the trickflow stage 2 cam and on trickflows website it says must have matching maf could that be it I didn't know u had to match a maf with a cam
