96-98 Cobra owners?

Do all Cobra's between these years come with the 5.0? Is the 5.0 a good enough block to simply add a stroker kit and boost and not worry about the block? And the silliest question but most important for exterior purpose...Is there a 95-98 whose tailights don't look like rice or crap? thanks much

All 96+ Cobras are 4.6 4vs, 95 and down cobras are 5.0s. Tailights that do not look like rice, I dont' know what SN95 cars you have seen but the stock 96-98s look just fine.

96+ Cobra's are 4.6L 32V 305HP motors. Im not sure what you mean by the taillights, not a thing on a stock body Mustang that looks anywhere near "rice-ish".

i have always loved 5.0's and i feel they are very strong engines. if u wanna do some strokin and things of that sort, go with the 94-95's!

The 99 Cobra has the amber in the tail lights.

Well i guess I am still torn between the 5.0 and the 4.6 as I like the styling of the 96-98 and it has the 4.6 but I think I will go that way as apposed to the 94-95. The 5.0 just isn't enough of a cause to buy those seeing as how I plan to add a stroker kit, and a charger, turbo or super not sure yet. All I know is I want to exceed 500 horsies and the 4.6 can do so just as easily as the 5.0.
