I've got a 96 GT that has right around 90k miles on it, and it has a terrible case of the front end squeaks. Turn the wheel, go over a bump, drive thru town, etc.. I thought my problem was the springs (or more specifically whatever rubber the springs sit on) sqeaking, but after doing some research here, looks like it is more likely ball joints. I am planning on putting this in the shop soon and tearing down the font end for some new parts, but i had some questions first.
1. Instead of getting new ball joints, it seems like I read to just get 03 cobra control arms. That my best option?
2. What else should I change while I have the front end apart? Tie rod ends? Is there any rubber bushing parts that wear out and should be replaced?
Thanks for the input,
Joe
