You know what is funny? On SVTP everyone wants solids and on StangNet's GT section everybody wants IRS...

I guess everyone thinks the grass is always greener on the other side...

Is the IRS stock or does it have some upgrades?

Do you get any wheel hop when doing burnouts?

Good work and I like that it pushes the wheels out where they should be. Soooo, how does it drive?

Is your car a drag car? If so, why even bother to put an IRS?

If it isn't a drag car, why bother to put GMS on the front suspension?

Seems like a waste either way IMO.

Damn yall are some impatient people...

Ok.. here we go.

Yes it bolted right up, but the 96-98 cars are missing 2 bolt holes for the IRS subframe rear mounting brackets so i welded them in.

The IRS is completely stock except for MM IRS bushings. no wheel up from this one from what the last owner said, i haven't tried any b/c i'm breaking in a brand new motor and burnouts = no no

Car drives absolutely AWESOME.. i WOULD NOT go back to a solid axle at all now.

EpikGt.. thats my Grandmother....

San~man..
Car isn't a drag car.. started out that way, then i got to hanging around my SCCA road race buddy and hes got me into the twisties again.

Hence why i've got dragrace stuff on the front.. PLUS i got all of the front suspension at a good deal.. less than $700 for the whole setup

I apologize bro....I didnt mean to offend you if I did.. Anyway the car looks nice & looks like a great sleeper. I once had a black 96 GT & I wanted to turn it into a sleeper with an 03 Cobra motor. I like the IRS swap, & the Cobra front fascia & R hood are a nice touch. The only other thing I would do is add some nice wheels, 18-9 & 18-10, & an S197 spoiler.
