96 Mustang V6 Help

hey I'm new here and was wondering if anyone had a similar problem with their mustang like me. My mustang has been having a hard time starting lately and when it finally does run it idles at 1100 rpm and acts like the chokes on and also idles rough under 1500 rpm. If I give it gas while it's in this mode the rpm will just drop like it's flooding but if you pay the gas you can get it all the way to about 4500 rpm. The car has BBK Cai, msd street fighter coil msd wires and iridium plugs. The car did this before the upgrades just not as bad or as frequent. I've checked the maf and it's working proberly but if anyone has any idea where to test now I'd appreciate the help. Thanks, Ian
