I looked thru some search pages & found a couple posts, mainly swaps on 94/95 gt's. Can someone post a parts list & some steps for this swap. (computer, drv shaft, crossmember) I've done a few fox swaps but no SN-95's.

i'm not sure about your computer, but with the 99+ you just need a retune for a trans change and not a whole new computer.

stronger and more consistent at the track. other than the fun factor of shifting yourself, there's not much advantage of having a manual compared to a modified auto.

My friend took me for a ride in his 2000 GT with an auto, 2500 stall converter. 4.10's, O/R X, Borla cat back, UDP's & a tuner. It runs consistent 13.40's on DR's. The cars pulls hard & it sounds bad a$$ with the stall converter. After riding in this car I kinda got hooked.

Bigshow...

I just did the opposite swap on my 96gt!!!!! I have absolutely everything you need for the swap...Down to the flex plate bolts and the pedal cluster... Even the ECU...

The process was not that bad at all... Easy actually.

PM me and we'll see if we can work out a deal....

At thinking a standard H T45 is somehow closer to a F1 trans than an automatic. With all the electronic parameters and tweaking that's done with tuning the trans shifts in a F1 car and the fact they don't depress the clutch - I think it'd be a hard argument to shape.

This is besides the fact that you are actually wrong. It was banned because it's too effective and costs a lot more, so people who can't afford it would be left out off the podium

dont mind handz...he posts this sort of stuff when anything about an auto trans comes up

He will not admit that auto tranmissions are superior

cant beat a 3500 stall, 4.10s gears, and a good valvebody
