I have a 97 Mustang 3.8L V6 base coupe, right now all 4 stock tire sizes P205/65R15.
going to get cooper cobra radial gt tires and i am not planing to lower the car.

Looking to upgrade with wider tires for daily driver, but i want to keep the stock wheels i think they are 7".

Whats the best size tire to fill the fender well gap in the front and rear?
thinking front 235/60R15 and rear 245/60R15 or 255/60R15 or 275/60R15 anyone change the rear tire and knows what fits with stock wheel?

235/245 is about the limit of what you should go on a 7" wide rim. usually you want to try to stay about 2" wider than rim width as a general rule. Now, you can go wider, but now you start seeing sidewall bulge which can be a detriment to handling as the large sidewall tends to roll over on itself in a hard turn.

Your tire size choices also increase the wheel diameter, which will lift the car up slightly. A 245/60/16 is about 1" bigger in diameter than the OEM size.
