98 Cobra Speedo Cluster..HELP PLEASE...

I have a Cobra that some knucklehead replaced cluster with a GT cluster. I haven ow ordered the proper cluster(used, mileage is right on). I need to know if there is anything to do other than simply swap it out. Does Ford have to do something to get it going to prevent odometer fraud? I would think they have something to prevent you from replacing it with a lower mileage one......

Hello, that should be a direct swap for you as long as you made sure to get a 98 cobra cluster because I think the 96-97 clusters had a little different OHM resistance in a few circuits but I'm not totally sure about that. I wouldn't worry about the mileage, unless you go to sell the car or if you have some kind of extended warranty with the dealer.
