I personally find the 99-04 to be one of the ugliest mustangs other than the mustang 2 which shouldn't count as a mustang since it doesn't have a V8. I would only take a 03 or 04 mach 1 because of the engine and shaker hood. I will be ordering a 05 convertable in feb. since I have a 68 fastback and it resembles my car and the 05 is the best looking mustang since 1970.

As an owner and fan of any Mustang I think your comments have to be the most assinine. You are also quite wrong about the Mustang II, after 1974 the II was available with a V-8(302) although it was very subdued. But, every V-8 from that era was detuned quite a bit. I happen to have owned several Mustang models and currently own the ones in my sig. I will be buying an SVT around 08 or 09. Don't be a hateful hater. You sound like a troll.

btw, since when did a 05 CONVERTIBLE resemble a 68 FASTBACK?

i never specifically said the convertable resembled my fastback exactly. the 05 has many styling ques from the 67. Take a look at the front, rear and most of the side. and the 05 coupe looks like a fastback. Thanks for calling me a troll, how old are you? 10?

No, 9 yrs old.... I guess I was taking your comments a little to close to heart. After I came back and reread your comment, I thought "this guy is entitled to his own opinion" why am I busting his hump?

alright. cool, no hard feelings. I just think of mustangs as a muscle car, which is why i said only V8's because i feel a 6 cylinder mustang is like buying a two door taurus but thats my opinion. Its cheaper insurance but i'd rather pay more and have the power under me.

I think the interior is the nicest part of the 05 Mustang GT.

I totally agree. Ford has always had black and grey leather, which only looks good on certain colors of mustangs. But now with red leather, the red on red GT is by far the best looking mustang in a long, long time, with the retro gauges and everything else.
