99-04 window switch question

Does anyone know if the 99-04 window switch/lock switch's are light up (you know the green/blue type to see what is what) or are they painted like our 94-95's? I can not remember as its been a few years since I sat in one since my buddy sold his.

IF they are light up...does anyone know if they will plug into our years door harness? I am thinking about replacing mine if there are light up switches since the paint on mine is wearing off. Would kind of update the look to I think.

For some reason I thought at some point they had light up (backlit) up/down arrows and stuff in the 99+'s or sometime before 04. I know the trucks got these switches some time before 99, my wife's 01 zx2 has them,...why not a mustang at some point?

Maybe I will venture over to the 4.6 section...

If not no big deal just thought why paint if I can upgrade to backlit version.
