The 05 GT wheel tire size is 235/55/17. I'm pretty sure you can cure the off-set with wheel spacers. But why go a less wider rim?

so more offest meaning it can be cured by wheel spacer? or more offest as it already sits too far out?

The 05 GT has 8" rims...no smaller than the 99.

Well you've aksed a good question there - And I'd bet you nailed it with the second half of the post...if the offset is too great, spacers would simply make situation worse! I thought I read somewhere that the 05 rim would fit the SN95 Gen2 well...hopefully someone with experience will pipe in.
