99 heads on 96GT instalation...help!

Hey, i justsaw a 99 gt crashed from the back and side at a junkyard...thing looked like it was hit my a truck. Anyway, i think i might be able to pull the heads off it pretty cheap. This would be the only way 4 me because i cant afford a pi swap yet.
So my question is, assuming they are not damaged, what is required to put them on my 96GT? is it as simple as taking my heads out and putting the new ones on? i guess ill need to get my computer reprogramed? any help/advice from head intall vets would realy help me out because i doubt those heads will be there for too long.

Grab the heads and the intake , get some new gaskets and you should be all set , no computer upgrade needed .

i did the whole swap myself on my car. that article looks good too but if you're doing the 99 heads, you'll need the 8 10mm upper stud/bolts as well to fit through ur timing cover.

usually junkyards wont part out a good engine in which case you would be better off swapping the whole engine anyway , probably has less miles , you wont get the high compression out of it that will cause a problem if you decide to supercharge it , etc ........ BUY THE WHOLE ENGINE !!!!
