Hi all I'm new to the Mustang world so I'm learning as I go. I'm having a problem filling up my gas tank because the gas keeps coming up when I know its empty. Can you please shed some light on what the issue is. Thanks!

LOL, you posted in the wrong section buddy. Are you talking about the gas gauge? Your fuel level float arm might be stuck or the sender might be malfunctioning.

Have you been hill hopping? Sometimes when you do things such as this the "rollover ball" in the filler neck gets stuck in the up position. Try pushing a piece of rubber 3/8 fuel hose down the gas filler neck and pushing the ball back down. Also look under the car for a pinched vent hose going to the filler. It is the small one connected to the filler neck.

I encountered this problem on my 2000 GT and worked very hard on the solution. Please see:

Note, the REAL fix to this issue is to replace the EVAP charcoal canister. The cost new from Ford is less than $100.
