Hello all,There's a guy here in town who just bought a 99 completly stock Z28 with a automatic.He's talking s*#t on my cobra wanting to race.Should I run him,and will I beat him?Thanks

Yeah do it and own him. You have a full exhaust and 4.10s, you should definatly take him to the house. Try and go from a roll make sure ur in the right gear, those autos can be beasts out of the hole.

I don't see where you should have any problem taking him. I take 01-02 SS/Z28 stock all the time and they run the best stock due to ls6 intake. If at a dead stop watch your launch as you should have him with 4.10. It might be closer on a roll as they due pull hard once in 3rd but if he's all stock you still should have him bit with full exuast. I notice you had no pullies in your sig, if none you should go out and get asp underdrive pullies. Have fun.

A geared snake will walk auto LS1's all day long. I sure as hell would.

You should have no problem beating him I think.....If you lose it is because of driving skill

I do have under-drive pulleys on it.I forgot to list those.Thanks for your advice.
