99gt h-pipe fit on 96 gt

okay so my friend came across an aftermarket h-pipe that was on a 99GT coupe, but has no need for it, and is willing to give it to me, will it fit on my 96 GT vert?

Yes it will, pretty much anything from 96-04 will work together.

It should fit but it wont have the hangers like an h-pipe specifically made for a 96 though. I believe that would be the only difference.

yeah the hangers will not be right. but if you are crafty and have a welder you could make it "fit".

I would say 02 sensor placement might be different as well, but since you said you had a 99 pipe, nevermind. Should bolt right up
