a BUNCH of FRONT BUMPER questions. (HELP!)

(I used "advance search" already) this is a 1988 gtThe story:
I was leaving work the other morning and I lost controll while trying to show off, like the young dumb 21 year old that I am.
I pulled out going left on cold tires; laid into it a bit, and within .5 sec I was up on the sidwalk 20 feet from the parking lot entrance I just pulled out of.
I couter steered and let off the gas but it went around so fast I just went ito a power slide. by the time I could react with the clutch and brake my front clip was shattered and I am still waiting to see if my bos says anything to me. (I work for a big factory that has a camera monitoring every inch of that place)

My questions:
1.) how much $$ to paint a new bumper (two tone)?? those who have paid a BODY SHOP to paint a bumper.

2.)Does anyone sell a stalker bumper for less $$ then cervinis?
(thats the bumper I broke, I dont like the stock GT bumper)

3.) who sells composit bumpers besides skinnykidracecars.com?
(like the one below)

I see these types of bumpers on race cars in magazines all the time but never see ads for them being sold. anyone know a good website?

4.) can I make a bumper with that smooth/molded look myself? by filling in a stock one maybe...
what fillers to use for plastic bumper repair? fillers?

if you have the JUNE 2006 MUSCLE MUSTANGS AND FAST FORDS
check out page 102. and look at the front clip on that black turbo hatch.

THANK YOU for helping me out guys :SNSign:

If you are looking for just the smooth look like that above it would probably be the least expensive to get a used GT cover and glass it over....The thing will still weigh a ton which im sure the one above doesnt...

Yeh but I thought the bumpers were made out of plastic, fiberglass wont adhere to plastic as far as what I understand.....am I wrong?

age classic design sells the stalker for like 200 bucks cheaper than cervinis, thats where I got mine and it was 300, not 500.
I went to www.ageclassicdesign.com and when you click "mustang parts" or
"mustang body kits" it just does a search and provides a list of links to other web sites. I could not find the stalker bumper with that method.
I was wondering if could you provide me with a link to the bumper?
thanks.

thats weird, that is not the right site. I tried searching for them on google and could not find them either? Maybe they went out of business:notnice: . Try design concepts, they might have some reasonable price over cervinis.

Good luck keeping that car cool with a smooth bumper like that, if it's your daily driver i would steer clear of one of those style bumpers. I'm surprised no one else has said this but the stock gt bumper already doesn't flow enough air to the radiator.

However if you really have your mind set on one try www.wolferacecraft.com

My cars temp stays about half way all the time, I cant see how it would make that much of a diff. I mean with my electric puller fan its gonna pull the air up from the bottom of the car. I would think theres enough space between the rad and bumper to supply the same volume of air. its gonna get pulled in from somewhere. you think the radiator is that dependant on the "wind" to keep it cool? maybe, but that would be a design flaw in the cooling system, IMO.
Hey,when I click on the link for "smooth nose" it gives me a page with the following message... lol but i can view all the other parts.
ill try it again tomarrow.

this car is not meant to get fixed:rolleyes:

the "stalker" they sell does not come with th headlamp panel.
whats with that?
CERVINIS stalker has it built in so i would need to get that too, right?
and how do those little corners get attched if they are a seperate piece?
i am confused
bumper-$329- shipping $85-$100
head lamp panel-$85-shipping-$25
I have someone who is gonna sell me a GT stock cover.
I think I need that headlamp mounting panel with that one also right?
where can I get it? is $85 w/$25shipping a good price for that part?

I guess im a little lost here:shrug:
