After replying to another thread, I started thinking. Here is my situation. I got my stang back in 05. Car only had 16K and was bone stock down to the Goodyear tires.
My A/C has never been charged. Still running R-12. I work at an automotive repair facility that does AC work. However none of our techs still have gauges nor do we have R-12. I can brag that AC is still blowing cold and it is still original including the freon, but truth of the matter is now that I have posted this Karma is going to hit me next summer something is going to happen to the system
. I would hate to convert it to R134, wish I could find someone locally that still has the right equipment and the R-12 cans to give it a shot if needed next summer. I say that every summer, but it continues to blow cold
. I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and convert it when something goes wrong.
