A/C questions experts please help.

Well after puting in gas it would leak out after a week. This time i put some die in it and gas from what i can see it is the compressor thats leaking . The compressor is two part and where it connected in the middle is were i see the die??

is it possible that the compressor is good but is leaking can it be taken apart and replace any type on gasket in it??

Yeah, it's possible, but most people just replace the whole compressor.

I had this problem on my bronco. Ended up being cheaper and less stressful to just buy a new compressor. Saves you a lot of tylenol lol.

get a new compressor and be done with it. make sure you don't leave the system open for too long or you'll get moisture in the lines. then you'll have to replace the evaporator which contains a dessicant. make sure when you recharge, you put a vacuum on it and always keep the can upright to allow only r134 gas and not the liquid enter the charge.
