A couple decent pics

Well I decided to wax & detail the stang for like the 1st time since last fall

I'd like to say I knew this was going to be a cool pic, but it was totally on accident.

My stuff used consisted of the following:

Meguir's Gold Class Shampoo/Wash (awesome shtuff)
Black Magic tire shine
Wax-as-You-Dry detailing spray
Mothers Mag Billet Aluminum Polish (for the wheels)

I gotta say I was VERY impressed with the wax as u dry stuff. I wasnt expecting alot, but it really does bead water 100X better than it did just a couple days ago, a decent amount of swirls were reduced, and the shine is definitely deeper. Its not a true replacement for a good wax/polish job, but if you dont have a ton of time its worth the extra bit of effort.

And also everyone go buy a Microfibre towel to wash, wax, & detail your cars. I swear a pure cotton towel feels like sandpaper on the paint after using the microfibre towels.


Next up: New front bumper & driver side 1/4 panel are being replaced due to some minor damage about 1.5 yrs ago, 20% / limo tint, 302 badges (same font as current) and possibly some nicer foglights.

Why a new front bumper? That one looks cool. Also I like the wheels- nice lip on 'em. BUT, why not get an exhaust before the bumper cover, it just doesn't seem like you need it i guess? (I just can't see the damage i guess)

Its the front bumper that needs replacement. You cant see it in the pics but its cracked and scratched on the driver side and the fender got pushed a tiny bit and it has a very very small crease.

And I aplolgize for the ugly tailpipes. I hadnt cleaned them yet because they were too hot from driving to throw polish on. I do plan on getting some replacement tailpipes because the stockers are starting to look wimpy to me.

And the wheels are American Racing Torq Thrust II's (chrome) 17x9.5 & 17x11.

i need to check it out a bit more but i thought there would be clearance issues with those monster back wheels? 11" is pretty large and i thought that only the IRS could handle 'em- oh well i guess a misconception.
