A different Mark VIII question

I did a search already and couldn't find much. I've got a 3" Granitelli aluminum radiator in the GT. Do you all think I still have enough room to install a Mark VIII??? Thanks.

I BARELY had enough room with my Fluidyne, which I think is around the same thickness

I had one hell of a time fitting mine in with a PepBoys 3-core. I had to take out the washers onthe water pump bolts, and shave down the heads on the bolts. then I put my blower in and had to mount it upside down and make brackets for the fan, and get a junkyard overflow tank.

That's what I was afraid of. I like the idea of freeing up some extra power, but not if it's such a PITA.
I'll just put that money toward a nitrous kit and make some power that way.

I installed mine on a Griffin 3-core and have some clearance. Not a whole lot but enough to operate.

Mine is upside down as well, and it was trimmed about 1/2-3/4".

MAN that is a close fit! I think I'll save that project for when I'm really bored and don't mind spending some time making it right.

Took me a few hours, not that bad though. It took more time to wire it the way I did than installing the fan to the radiator and cutting the shroud.

about 1.5" can be trimmed from the m8 fan.

If you can't go with the m8, the taurus fan also flows very well

If you don't want to use the Mark 8 Fan, then why not try the Taurus fan? Here is mine when I had it. I only upgraded to a Mark VIII fan because I found one and wanted one before, so I upgraded

Is a Tauras fan a lot thinner or something?

I think it's the same after you cut them both down, it might be a little thinner, it's also above the pullies the way I mounted it...
