Lately i have been hearing and seeing all these things about HDR Photography....so i decided to hope on the band wagon, do some research, and Give this whole HDR thing a shot.

I am Completely new to this and this is my first attempt. Comments would be Highly Appreciated

.....CS3 Totally SUCKS for HDR so i had to use Photomatix and then use a little CS3 to complete the job.

These Images were taken using 5 Shots. Everyone has been using 3 so i said "What The Hell, I'll Use 5!!!"

I believe you need to be further out to take a better effect. Try a bigger setting like the beach

Lots of good contrast and lighting in the last one. You should post some original pics so we can see how it helps.

you really only need 3 to get the "true view", i think taking five is mellowing some of your colors (like the second pic). Try using a more drastic darkening exposure value - it will cause less saturation

pretty cool technique. i tried it out using 3 exposures on a few of my pics in CS2...

now i understand how you cant just post an original because you'd be posting 5 originals that you worked with lol.

do you think photomatix would be significantly better at the task than CS2? i dont know if CS2 is any different from the way CS3 does it... or is it?
