A few questions rolled into one

1. How do you get to the window motor to change it?

2. To take off the front clip (nose) Do I have to remove the fenders? I need to put on another clip as the one I have is damaged.

3. De rusting the engine compartment. Is it possible? I just got a foureyed that has some rusting going on along the radiator support and the shock support (if it is called that) under the hood. Is there a way to nip that in the bud. Like ******ing the engine out and spraying it or something?

I have a four-eyed project that is going to require alot of grass-roots work to get right..

1.) It'll depend on the year of your car but there will be a couple of screws. 4 in the armrest of my car. One over the spearker grille cover. Then the bottom of the should pop out (plastic clips hold mine in place) Once the lower 3/4 of the door is loose, it should just slide up over the lip and off.

2.) Never removed the front clip - someone else will know that one

3.) Two options:

a) POR-15 = Pour Over Rust. THis product, although expensive is designed to stop rust. It won't look pretty but this will stop the rust from doing any more damage

b) Take everything out of the engine bay and blast the paint down to bare metal. You can get a replacement core support for the radiator. You'll have to cut and weld in patch metal for the strut towers.... But, all of the Rust will be eliminated this way. Then repaint.
